Plot Notes

Basic Plot line;
A backward Cinderella story with a dose of beauty in the beast witch should be expected from a Disney channel original. The two leads need to achieve their dreams one becoming "Blossom Queen" and the other winning a school film festival and the only way to do so is by working with each other although one being the school geek the other most popular girl in school.

Similar Movies:
A Cinderella Story, Any Disney channel original, Mean Girls, Beauty and the briefcase

Stereotypes/troupes: "makeovers", becoming each other, the geek is really hot, the beauty is actually a geek, not like any other girl.

Main Cast

Dylan Schoenfield ("Beauty") - Sarah Hyland ( Modern Family)
Josh Rosen ("Geek")- Matt Prokop ( High School Musical 3 )
Amy Loubalu- Sasha Pieterse ( Pretty Little Liars)

Opinions

Acting:
It's your typical teen actors learning their field and trying their best to develop skills and although those with experience succeed like Hyland her counterpart did not and become to outrageous and over the top to believe like every teen trying to act in school.

Plot:
The Plot is similar to every fairytale ever it seems Disney TV movies can't get over its simple successful classics so repeats their storylines over and over again instead of creating a new narrative.

Filming/Editing:
I think some of its only redeeming qualities comes from the editing as the director seemed to know how to keep a younger audience intrigued by changing the shot often but still seamlessly allowing the plot to move along as fast as it does.
